The Roads Department, under the supervision of the Manager of Public Works, is responsible for the maintenance, repairs, reconstruction and signage of approximately 680 lane kilometers of municipally owned roads, 61 bridges, 331 catch basins and hundreds of culverts all within Bluewaters' 417 square kilometer area.
Road maintenance includes:
- Plowing
- Sanding
- Grading
- Ditching
- Sidewalk maintenance
- Roadside grass cutting
- Culvert repair
- Tree trimming
